Brenda Eaton
Brenda Eaton is Chair of BC Housing Management Commission. The Commission's mandate is the development, management and administration of subsidized housing in British Columbia. It has an annual budget of $500 million and serves 80,000 households.
Ms. Eaton is also on the Boards of BC Hydro, Powerex, Canada West Foundation, Phillips, Hager & North Centre for Financial Research, and the Max Bell Foundation.
From 2001 until June 2005, Ms. Eaton was Deputy Minister to British Columbia Premier Gordon Campbell, responsible for Corporate Planning and Restructuring.
From 1997-2001, Ms. Eaton was Vice-President, Operations Support for the former Capital Health Region, responsible for strategic planning, resource allocation, finance, construction, plant maintenance, information systems, lab services and all non-clinical support services.
For the decade prior to joining the CHR, Ms. Eaton served in a variety of senior management positions in the Government of British Columbia, including Deputy Minister of Social Services, Finance and Treasury Board, and Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources.
Ms. Eaton has Bachelors and Masters degrees in Economics. |
