Maria LeRose

Maria LeRose Maria LeRose has a passion for authenticity. As a moderator she disappears into the structure of the dialogue to allow the featured subjects and stages to shine.

Maria has earned a reputation as a broadcaster with heart. For 25 years she has traveled the globe doing interviews and producing TV programs. Highlights include: Co-host of CKVU's flagship show Vancouver; Co-host and co-producer of CBC's In the Company of Women; Family Columnist for CBC's Network's Midday; Co-host and co-producer for the Knowledge Network series Learning a Living: The Future of Work; and Healing from Abuse.

Maria also co-produced and conducted interviews for nine episodes of CBC Television's award winning biography series Life and Times. Recently her production company produced a documentary series on Children, Youth and Mental Health for Knowledge Network.

Maria's production and interviewing skills are applied beyond broadcast television. She works as a Communications Consultant and Moderator for large-scale live / interactive and webcast training initiatives for corporations and organizations that include The Treasury Board of Canada, The Boeing Company, US Department of Veteran's Affairs, and UBC School of Medicine.

In 1993 Maria moderated a satellite-linked Science World Youth Summit featuring former Soviet Leader Mikhail Gorbachev and groups of high school students situated in sites throughout British Columbia.
