Dalai Lama Visit: Call Out for Volunteer Applications
We are delighted to announce that His Holiness The Dalai Lama will be returning to Vancouver for the Heart-Mind Summit. We invite you to apply to be a volunteer for this engaging event happening on Tuesday, October 21st, 2014.
The Heart-Mind Summit hosted at the Vancouver Convention Centre East, will provide a stage for the Dalai Lama and influential British Columbians – from business, community, education, research and media – to explore what each can do as an individual or as a group to ‘Educate the Heart’ of children and youth.
As a volunteer, you will be an integral part of creating a warm and welcoming space for this 4,000 person summit. We will provide mandatory training sessions, which will provide you with an opportunity to meet and connect with others, as well as workshops to refresh and gain skills to provide hosting and guest relation services to ensure a sense of community and inclusion at our event.
